How do I swap my Privée bag?

To initiate a swap, please follow these required steps:

You may return your bag in one of two ways:

1. Ship via UPS

  • Use the original Vivrelle shipping box
  • Place the bag inside the original dustbag
  • Ensure all desiccants are included inside the packaging
  • Seal the box using the resealable tape provided in your return kit
  • Drop the package off directly at a UPS location (not a drop box)

If your return is not shipped within the 3-day window, your next Privée order may be canceled

2. Swap in person at our Midtown NYC showroom

  • Appointment required
  • Please coordinate directly with your Privée concierge to schedule

What if I misplaced the box or dustbag?

If any original packaging materials (box, dustbag,, inserts, tape) are misplaced, please reach out to our concierge team before returning your item so we can help with replacements.

When will my next Privée bag ship?

Once you place your new Privée request, you will have 3 days to ship back your current bag or coordinate directly with your Privée concierge to schedule an appointment at our NYC showroom. 


The return must be dropped off directly at a UPS location.

Please retain your UPS receipt as proof of drop-off.


Your next Privée order will ship after your current order has been received and processed by our team. If your return is not shipped within the 3-day window, your next Privée order may be canceled.

Premium Coverage

Privée bags are covered under Vivrelle’s Premium Coverage program, consistent with the terms outlined in our Membership Agreement.

What happens if my Privée item is lost, stolen, or damaged?

All Privée pieces are subject to the same coverage policies as standard Vivrelle inventory.

Am I responsible for the bag until it is received?

Yes. Members are responsible for the Privée bag until:


• It has been dropped off directly at UPS

• A valid receipt has been obtained

• Or it has been physically received by our team in a showroom swap


We strongly recommend retaining your UPS receipt until your return has been confirmed as processed.

Are there situations not covered under Premium Coverage?

Yes. Coverage does not extend to:


• Intentional damage

• Negligence

• Failure to follow return and packaging instructions

• Shipping via unauthorized methods (e.g., drop boxes or alternative/third party carriers)

What is Privée?

Privée is an invite-only add-on tier within Vivrelle that gives you access to an exclusive collection of ultra high-end luxury accessories, including Hermès Birkin and Kelly bags, as well as premium styles from Van Cleef & Arpels, the Bvlgari Serpenti collection, and more. It sits on top of your existing Vivrelle membership and includes a separate Privée closet.

How does borrowing work?

Privée members may borrow one Privée bag at a time and similar to the other tiers, must keep it for a minimum of 30 days before requesting a swap.


Your Privée closet is completely separate from your regular Vivrelle closet, though functions very similarly to the Vivrelle our members know and love!

Do I need to keep my Classique or Couture membership active?

Yes. Privée is not a standalone membership.


To remain a Privée member, you must maintain an active Vivrelle membership (Classique or Couture).

Can I freeze my Classique or Couture membership while keeping Privée?

You may freeze your Classique or Couture membership and still remain enrolled in Privée.


However, you cannot fully cancel your Vivrelle membership and remain in Privée.

Can I freeze Privée specifically?

Yes, you can freeze Privée for $50/month. As soon as you want to come back, you can unfreeze immediately and add something new to your closet.

Can I cancel Privée?

Yes. If you would like to cancel Privée, that cancellation must be processed separately from your Classique or Couture membership.


If you wish to cancel both, you will need to submit two separate cancellation requests.

Can Privée be a standalone tier if I don’t want a Classique or Couture item?

No. Privée requires an active Vivrelle membership. While you may freeze your Classique or Couture closet, you cannot fully cancel it and remain in Privée.

What items are included in Privée?

Privée features a curated collection of ultra high-end authenticated luxury accessories including Hermès Birkin and Kelly bags in a range of sizes, colors, leathers, and hardware as well as premium styles from the collections of Van Cleef & Arpels, Bvlgari and Cartier, among others.

Can I request a specific item?

Yes. You may submit requests for specific styles, colors, leathers, or hardware. While availability is not guaranteed, our concierge team will do their best to accommodate.

Can I purchase an item I borrow?

Yes. You may request a purchase quote through your Vivrelle concierge if you fall in love with a piece, and receive special members-only pricing exclusive to Privée members, with a portion of your membership fees applied toward your purchase.

How much does Privée cost?
