Finance Manager

About This Role:

The Finance Manager will focus on FP&A and be someone with a strong banking/finance background that is tenacious, diligent, motivated, organized, and high output. This team member will partner with others across the organization to provide financial expertise and analysis. They will find opportunities for both positive ROI investment and cost savings.

You Will:

  • Add tremendous value to every part of the company by providing financial expertise and analysis
  • Work with department heads to build/refine annual budgets and forecasts
  • Prepare quarterly and annual account reconciliations, monitor and enforce compliance with tax and financial reporting standards to assist with cash flow forecasting
  • Perform variance analysis and communicate reasons for differences
  • Identify new productivity or cost saving initiatives
  • Produce financial models & analysis for a wide range of initiatives & stakeholders including the CEO and Board
  • Prepare business cases to support new investment, strategic and other business decisions
  • Utilizing BI tools to delivery meaningful insights into business performance
  • Work with the Marketing Team for effective acquisition planning
  • Streamline metrics reporting.
  • Analyze financial and operational results to better understand company performance
  • Assist with formulation of the business' medium to long term financial and strategic plan
  • Track compliance with debt covenants

Your Skills and Qualifications Include:

  • Minimum of 7+ years of relevant analytical experience, preferably banking or FP&A
  • Significant analytical skill set, including the utilization of BI and reporting tools
  • Strong quantitative abilities
  • Able to solve complex problems
  • Experience managing a budget
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to build relationships
  • Strong influencing and interpersonal skills
  • High level of commercial acumen
  • Master of Excel, including macros/VBA

  • CFA or CPA
  • MBA
  • SQL/Python experience
